The Interaction Design Association (IxDA) is a member-supported organization dedicated to the discipline of interaction design. Since its launch in 2003, IxDA has grown into a global network of more than 120,000 individuals and over 200 local groups, focusing on interaction design issues for the practitioner, no matter their level of experience.

We'll explore the theory and practice behind creating a chatbot, how to translate business problems into end-user solutions and testing real-life bot performance.

Our speakers for the evening are two experts in the field.
Nena van As, a Conversational UX Researcher who has been with @boost.ai since 2021. Nena conducts research both internally and externally, collaborating with academic research partners such as SINTEF and Lund University balancing business andacademia.

Christine Kåsen Nesvik, a Technical CSM (Customer Success Manager) at @boost.ai withe xperience in training chatbots and overseeing multiple projects across various clients. She has been with Boost since 2020 and previously worked at Aker BP.

Each year, World Interaction Design Day’s global theme offers local organizers the opportunity to program events in ways that are relevant to their communities. Together, they spark a global conversation where we explore new ways of designing for good and creating a better world for all.

‘Ethics, Equity, and Responsibility’ encompasses ethics in design, designing for accessibility, inclusive and responsible design, and anti-capitalist design. It focuses on the need to consider design’s impact on society and to create work that is equitable and responsible, all in service of IxDA’s mission: improving the human condition by advancing the practice of Interaction Design.

This year's celebration will feature a range of events, including workshops, talks, and networking opportunities.
