UXRomandie (an IxDA local) is meeting up next week for a few drinks and a talk on Remote User Testing 101.
As the talk will be in French, the rest of this email is in French. But don't hesitate to contact me off the line to discuss what we are doing at UXRomandie or if you're an English speaker in French Switzerland. You are more than welcome to meet with us, as most of our participants speaks perfect English.
Nous vous convions au prochain rendez-vous UX Romandie. Cette réunion se tient le 27.03 à L'université de Genève.
Freshly back from the IxDA conference in Dublin and full of inspiration, I feel like I should put some energy into the London IxDA local group. I think it's time we drummed up some support and made an effort to get some meetups/talks/drinks going. I'd be happy to help out getting this sort of thing going. How about a quick beer one evening with those interested to hatch some plans?
I'm sure we can also recruit some of the other London based conference goers we met over the past few days.
The iXDA State College group is the place to be for all you design, computer and interaction geeks who want to learn more, share stories and generally socialize with the "Interaction Nerds" of State College.
we expect that you have given up on your New Year's resolutions. Things like
giving up drinking, exercising more, eating less cake. IxDA Dublin would like
to invite you to our January Social, with minimum exercise required and
with drink available for you, to set your 2011 design resolution. We
will have a design resolution board for everyone to be made publicly
accountable for your resolutions, along with the normal IxDA social and the
announcement of the new Dublin local leaders.
I am a junior interface designer living here in Dallas Texas. I just recently lost my job in telemarketing for social media, in which I really didn't like, I tried reasoning with my company about interaction design but they wouldn't hear me out. I would like to start an organization that mirrors the values of ixDA's principles, yet targets the younger demographic. I would like to educate high school students about interaction design creating youth clubs and fostering an interest early. I'm hoping to get collegiate students interested as well to gain more colleagues in the industry.
