Recommendations on UX Journals and Magazines

I am trying to pull together a list of ux academic journals and magazines that not only introduce ux methodologies (both research and design) but also best practices. Off the top of my head, I can think of Interactions and UX Magazine. Anything else that is worth reading? I am interested in both theories and case studies.

I'll be more than happy to share the results with everyone!

a freelance ID's dilemma

Fellow Designers, can we talk creative business career strategy?

Last week, a Bay Area ad agency hired me to "simplify the UI" of a project under the title Senior Interactive Designer. I expected two to three weeks of freelance work, but I didn't see day three. My conundrum concerns leadership.


I get the job and join a team that doesn't trust each other.

Examples of Experience Vision

I'm looking for more examples of an experience vision (or
"envisionment" as some call it) for a brand, product, service or
organization. Can you help me?

It could be in the form of a narrative, cartoon, video - anything
that tells the story of the customer's experience. Not a product
demo.

Here are some excellent examples I am aware of already:

UX Roadmaps

I manage a small UX team within the Product department of a .com. As
part of the overall company strategy each department leader has been
tasked with creating a (gulp) 5 year road map of their respective
departments. I'm not a business school grad and have only seen road
maps and have never created one. Has anyone out there done such a
thing for a UX group and if so do you have any advice or resources
that might help me out.

I would appreciate any feedback.
