[Event] IxDA-SF presents: Motion Design: Storytelling and Wayfinding in Mobile UI Design

IxDA-SF is pleased to have Punchcut this month sharing their insights
on mobile interface design.

Motion design is a key component in emerging device user interfaces.
Designers must go beyond the gloss and use motion and animation to
guide users through an experience. We will discuss and demonstrate
motion design principles that balance utility and dramatic impact to
create memorable, playful and usable branded experiences.

Christian Robertson will discuss the practical benefits of ways
motion can provide meaning.

Ok,

Post iPhone conversation... Any recent reading material on trends in
mobile / smart phones

I am looking for blogs, whitepapers, conferences, places for where
people are talking about both the IxD and the scenarios of use that are
current.

Fonts for small screens

Hello,

Has anybody any pointer/theory/experiment about the fonts which are better
(that is, enable better reading) for small (e.g. PDA) screens?

Thanks,

-c.
