Software for Multivariate Usability Testing

Does anyone have any suggestions for software that allows for multivariate testing? I've got a project that have numerous paths a user can take and standard click throughs wont cut it. Based on user selections from initial steps the later steps may change and the software would need to allow for this.

Hi All

I am, and still are very interested in evaluating Intuitect Professional and have spent countless hours trawling the web searching for a download. But it seems that Intuitect has literally evaporated and no trace remains...

Can anyone please help with access to an evaluation version or even explain what happend to them?

Thanks in advance.

Persona creation tools

I am wondering if except for the already well known, whiteboard, sticky notes, markers and large sheets of paper are there any digital tools available to facilitate the collection/analysis of data, creation of personas and of course of scenarios in a shared environment?!

If you are not aware of such a tool, what are the pieces of software that you'd use together in order to satisfy such goals?!

I have found a couple of videos showcasing a prototype for a touch responsive interface created at Stanford that aims at becoming such a tool

Software/Hardware for UX Designer

Hello,

We're starting to build the case/need for a UX designer internally; however, I need to provide a list of anticipated software/hardware requirements. Might anyone have any insight as to what items might be basic for a new UX designer? Mac or PC?

Thanks!

Suggest mac software for video recording in usability lab

Hi,

I'm working as a research assistant at a Swedish university and we're currently rebuilding our user experience lab. One of the problems we see with the lab is that it's way too complicated to do testing.

IntrAnets: Remote usability software

Hi all.

It occurred to me that most remote usability software (e.g. remote observation tools like moseflow, surveys etc) are made to run on the IntErnet.

However, if you're testing on the IntrAnet, you won't have access to the Internet and therefore these tools don't work.

One option is to have these software hosted on a local server within the IntrAnet. However,  most of these solutions only work on the Internet and have no option for local hosting.

Advice: web based software for knowledge base

I was looking for a web application to share some simple knowledge about the way we solve issues (bugs, small task) in our office. Some of them are very repetitive and every time someone new arrives at the group the same history is told over again. By the way, I'm at the design department.

Examples and definition of 'workflows' in software interactions

Hi,

I'm having a slight disagreement (with an engineer) as to what defines workflow in our software. Any thoughts or experiences on how you've defined / implemented it in your products?

tks!

Michelle

Prototyping tools: Axure (on Mac) VS Fireworks VS Flash Catalyst VS ???

Hi all,

For one of our clients I am asked to create a 'clickable demo' for usability testing. I've started this thread to ask you guys what tools you use/prefer/advice to create clickable demos (including arguments would do best). The project is about a recruitment section of a corporate site and will include pretty much dynamic content and some flash elements.
