Join me in February, as I kick off the 2011 UX Book Club with the talented and funny Robert Hoekman, Jr.
The 2nd edition of Designing the Obvious just showed up in my mailbox and, wow, I’m excited. The first edition was a great book -- so great that I kept lending my copy out and not getting back. I think I bought 5 of them.
I have a grid that shows a list of schedules and user can then duplicate a schedule by clicking on a button (just above the grid) and make necessary changes. I want to call this button "Duplicate" and my dev team thinks this is "Clone".
I have seen the term 'Duplicate' getting used more common these days but is there any other logical reason why we should use 'Duplicate' and not 'Clone' or vice versa?
So it turns out that I have a discount coupon for nostarch.com, an online bookseller. I look at their site and come across "The Art of Interactive Design" by Chris Crawford. So, has anyone read this book? Is it worth picking up?

In a recent convo on Twitter, Janna DeVylder, Dave Malouf, Steve Baty and I were discoursing about the difficulties of traversing the Research > Design chasm. Some really great thoughts ensued. So, I thought I'd keep the convo going here.
