Animation & Motions in Mobile User interface

I'm working on a project that has to do with Animations and motions for the mobile. I've gone thru the principles of animation by Disney and a lot of content on User Interfaces and Animation but have not really found any resources that are completely or almost completely dedicated to animations for mobile. Anyone aware of anything in this context? Would be a great help! Aditya pixelguy.in

Tools for animating the user experience

At work this week my boss mentioned that he thinks my designs would be
better communicated if I created short animations, rather than
exclusively draw storyboards as I do now. I need a tool that allows
me to take an idea and present it in a slideshow within a matter of
minutes or hours. I'm very comfortable with Illustrator, so
preferably the animation tool would have a similar interface and
allow wacom input.

Does anyone have a preferred tool for this kind of thing? Flash?
Silverlight? Something else?

Animotion Sickness?

(no, that isn't a typo)

Has anyone encountered motion sickness on a website or webapp that animates
the interaction too much?

I am in the middle of designing a new navigational paradigm for enterprise
webapps that would heavily use the scriptaculous animation framework. The
idea is that each click of diving deeper into the application and content,
each layer deeper would animate onto the screen to show the relationship of
content.

While watching a coworker demonstrate a prototype he developed, I started
getting concerned that too much animation might be a bad thing.

UI as a sales pitch - Animated interfaces?

Hi all,

I just caught this article on Wired, entitled "Kiss Boring Interfaces
Goodbye With Apple's New Animated OS"

http://www.wired.com/software/coolapps/news/2007/06/core_anim

The discussion in the article, which is largely about the UI advances
the Core Animation feature of Leopard will make possible, reminded me
of the discussion we've been having about how the iPhone ads are
touting the UI as a feature and how novel that is.

My general attitude towards this article is one of cautious
skepticism, like

Leopard & Core animation ... Wired says it will change the desktop forever

http://www.wired.com/software/coolapps/news/2007/06/core_anim

Can someone who is a cult of Mac person be so kind as to explain the
reality behind this hyped up article on "Core Animation" in the new
version of Mac OS X.

One person is quoted as saying its the best thing since Mac OS
delivered in 1984.

Just a little guy looking for a reality check.

Thoughts about animations/transitions in GUI

Thoughts about animations/transitions in GUIs

I'm at the moment studding animations in GUI's .

///1.
I hope that the list can provide me with some thoughts about the use
of animations/transitions in GUI’s.

///2.
And I hope that the list can help finding relevant literature/papers/
sites that have worked with this issue.

I belive that animations have a unique function as an element that
can provide GUI with both functional and esthetic features,

The mid nineteens discussion about the use of Flash in websites is
not the aim, (-: as I'm very interested in the greater aspects o
