Hi everyone. I have to cancel my plans to be at Interaction 12. This is unfortunate for me after a year of planning for Dublin, but lucky for you if you waited to register: My ticket is yours at the 575 euro Early Bird discount rate (full conference rate is 650 euros).

Earlier this week, the full schedule for this year's IA Summit was posted. If keynotes and workshops with some of the finest minds in cross-channel information architecture weren’t enough to convince you to join us in New Orleans, the complete program ought to do the trick.
In this last call for participation in the 8th ACM Conference on Creativity & Cognition (C&C 2011), we cordially invite you to join us at the beautiful High Museum of Art in Atlanta, USA, from November 3-6, 2011.

Wow. Last month we asked you for workshop proposals, and boy did we get workshop proposals! The IAS team is still busy whittling down 101 submissions into an outstanding program of workshops, but one thing is clear: this year we’re going to rock New Orleans.
So, what else do you have to contribute to the information architecture and user experience conversation? We are now accepting proposals for sessions and posters.
Publicity isn’t really my role
for the CHI 2012 conference in Austin next May, but we’ve set up a Facebook
event for the first time and I thought IxDAers might like to know about it. You
can see who’s said they’re coming, invite your friends, and as soon as a minor
technical hitch is sorted out, you’ll be able to see a geographical breakdown
of attendees on the CHI 2012 web site.
