Diagramming asynchronous apps: wireframe storyboard

I'm curious for feedback. I diagrammed change on a part of the page in
parallel series over time:

Posted link to deliverable here:

I'm trying to communicate the design as well as document for future
generations. It's a rough draft, but does it succeed? Almost?

Wireframes

I've never liked the term "wireframes" because it comes from ancient days of
computer graphics when you had to create the "wireframe" image first, and
then fill in with local color, reflections, highlights, etc. No connotations
of interactivity.

"Wireframe" is really slang - "mockup" or "prototype" communicates the idea
without requiring the listener to be an "insider" familiar with industry
lingo.
