IxDA co-founder David Malouf and special guest colleagues will engage the
NYC community in a discussion of the state of interaction design today.
Topics covered will include General IxD Practice, Sketching and Prototyping,
Education, Richness and Openness, and Defining The Damn Thing.
This past Wednesday, IxDA Los Angeles partnered with local design shop
Almer/Blank (http://www.almerblank.com) to host a fun Halloween party! We
invited guests to come dressed as their favorite website, application or
device and we were impressed with some really great costumes. Some were
simple and fun like the person who dressed as Apple. Other costumes included
an iPod shuffle, a Wii, a "wicked user" and an interactive BBC home page
with arrange-able Velcro modules!
IxDA Los Angeles and Almer/Blank invite you to a design contest of sorts. In
other words, we're having a Halloween party! Please come dressed as your
favorite website, application or device. You have one more day to get a

Halloween-themed persona creation contest! If costumes aren't your thing,
the persona creation contest is another opportunity for you to win a great
