IxDA RSS
Summaries of all posts and comments. This feed is updated each time a message or comment is posted to the discussion list. It includes the first few sentences of each post and can exceed 50 items per day.
Full RSS
Full body of all posts and comments. The content for this feed is the equivalent of the unfiltered e-mail subscription except that the RSS feed updates more slowly. Like the summary feed it is high volume and can exceed 50 items per day.
New Threads
New topics of conversation. This is intended as a lower volume alternative to the full discusison list. It includes the initial post of each new thread as a way to follow the zeitgeist of the list, but omits all subsequent comments for that thread. This feed can include several items per day.
Popular
Limited to threads with at least five participants. This is another low volume alternative to the full discusison list based on activity as an indication of quality. It includes a summary of the initial post, the names of the first three participants and the current number of participants. This feed is generally limited to a few items per week.
Favorites
Individual posts explicitly marked as favorite. This is a very low volume/high quality alternative to the full discusison list. It includes the full body of each post marked as favorite and is generally limited to a few items per week.

Any member can add a post to this feed by marking the post as favorite on the main discussion page.

Subscribe to threads from the main discussion list by category, selected by IxDA curators. Each of these filtered versions of the list are low volume except for the job feed which can include several items per day.
