World Usability Day 2013 — Healthcare: Collaborating for Better Systems
14 Nov 2013
6:00 PM - 9:15 PM
101 Barclay Street
New York, NY 10007
The importance of user-centered design in healthcare is truly life or death. Whether it's new medical devices or technologies; drug research, approval or delivery; patient forms or medical record sharing; or increasing the functionality of hospitals and everyday healthcare delivery, everyone is affected in some way by the intersection of usability in healthcare. There are many commonalities, yet each region of the world faces its own set of unique challenges.
World Usability Day 2013 will create a stronger awareness of the healthcare systems issues with long-term impact on everyone's quality of life.
The NYC UXPA and BNY Mellon has assembled an all-star team of presenters who will share a variety of perspectives and initiatives in digital healthcare, and will follow with a moderated discussion and audience Q&A. On this night, we aim to challenge your definition of "healthcare" and inspire you to use your UX knowledge and skills to not just improve the lives of users, but to improve lives.
