Hi Folks,

One of the services I offer my clients is remote user testing. I use usertesting.com. I charge the price of the test (about $40) per participant and then for my time developing the tasks and analyzing the results (watching videos, writing report, making recommendations for changes). I also include up to 10 hours of design changes. The whole package comes to about 4K-6K depending on the number of test takers (6-12).

Does this sound reasonable? Too high or too low? Would anyone be willing to share what they charge?

Thanks!

Susan

I highly recommend we do NOT discuss service pricing here.

This could be considered collusion, which is illegal in the United States.

Jared, I agree, this is not the place to discuss pricing, yet I wonder how auto mechanics, plumbers, and electricians are able to use "book pricing (flat rate-per job)"  for repairs without some method of establishing a set price?   A totally rhetorical question, given that any service rates would probably be regionally adjusted, don't you think?
