Get hands on with gamestorming at this month’s IxDA Lansing meeting. We’ll be exploring an array of games by playing them ourselves. No experience is required, but we invite those who have gamestorming activities that they like or have wanted to try to bring them to add to those we’ll have in preparation for the evening.

What: Game(storming) Night, Admission is Free

When: Thursday, October 18, 2012, 5:30pm

Where: TechSmith Corporation, Galaga Conference Room at (2365 Woodlake Drive, Okemos, MI 48864)

Gamestorming is a fun way to innovate and facilitate in a group setting that began to take root in technology in 1970s Silicon Valley. In 2010, a book by the same name was written by Dave Gray, Sunni Brown and James Macanufo who also maintain a blog on the subject at http://www.gogamestorm.com/.

Agenda

5:30pm – 6:00pm: Meet & Mingle

6:00pm – 7:30pm: Hands on with Gamestorming activities

We would like to give special thanks to our sponsor, TechSmith Corporation, for hosting this event:

TechSmith Corporation

Admission to this event is free and you don’t need to be an IxDA member to attend. Just come out, have fun and get involved. See you on October 18th!
