User Experience Strategist

Ourt Clients User Experience Strategists (UXS) play a key role in the lifecycle of every project, working alongside program managers, UX team-members, business analysts, technical staff, and visual designers to identify requirements, study users, and craft experiences that translate business and user needs into informed, highly engaging sites and products.

The UXS is an experienced, versatile, client-facing position with ample opportunity to shape and communicate user experience strategy and design, often serving as team lead responsible for defining the overall experience vision.

The UXS will develop, define and articulate business and user strategies for websites, global website platforms/consolidations, CMS platforms, mobile websites, mobile applications, web-based applications, online merchandising, email campaigns, among others. Business analysis to define business, brand and marketing requirements, KPIs and metrics. User research/interviews and persona development to define customer segmentation strategies, user needs and content/feature strategy and structure. Work with key client stakeholders to create/refine internal work-flows and structures to support overall digital strategies. Presentation design and copywriting to generate consensus and buy-in within client organization and across business units.

User Experience Strategy is a process of integrating complex requirements to build unity of purpose and vision while developing an approach that meshes the needs of target users with mission-critical business needs. Create strategies that help clients segment customers and create positive brand engagements across the full spectrum of the customer life-cycle.  Experience as an Information Architect is an extension of work as a strategist. This allows the strategist to translate that strategy into simple visuals (wireframes, process flows, etc.) that illustrate the approach. In this capacity, work closely with front-end development teams to ensure the IA solution is effectively translated into a compelling visual and interactive experience.
