Currently I'm working on checkout processes in online shopping, if you are aware of some e-commerce sites which provides some great user experience or interactions, I would love getting your input and ideas.
Amazon - for product detail to support conversions and (if logged in) short journey
John Lewis - for brand orientation
I actually had one of the best online purchase experiences ever on www.lakeland.co.uk
I think largely because it's aimed at older women, and the experience was very supportive and no elements were allowed to compete with the user journey.
There is no holy grail or one solution that fits for all clients and business - Every product is a different but my article mentions a few general rules and hints.
