Hi all,

For anyone who might be interested, there are some diagrams in the post below illustrating designers in relation to their context and to other stakeholders in their own contexts, using concepts like sense, meaning, and second-order understanding - concepts which are used by Krippendorff in his book "The Semantic Turn" to describe what he sees as one crucial competence of designers which is rarely taken under consideration when trying to define the profession.

Not too many smart things to say about what I've read, except that I found it very interesting, and even useful when thinking about my own work.
Hope this helps someone else too.
