The Highs & Lows | Researching UX Salaries
Hello All,
I'm researching UX salaries in the US, and wondering if there are any good suggestions out there!
So far I've found the UPA's 2009 Salary Survey (free version) and AIGA 2010 Salary Survey to be helpful. The respondents in the UPA Salary Survey are mostly from Advertising and Software companies, and the AIGA sample set seems more general design oriented, less about UX. I'm especially interested in UX Designer and Director level salaries for cutting edge multimedia products/companies.
If anyone here is also a member of UPA and willing to share their complete vesion of the 2010 Salary report I would greatly appreciate it. Also, anyone who is interested in sharing information off of this thread, feel free to contact me at meg@missionstaff.com
Look forward to your comments.

The best and most varied resource is glassdoor.com, which features job titles and associated salaries.

I also like coroflot.com's annual salary which is about the entire design industry.
Thanks! GlassDoor is great because you can compare companies in similar industries. Just had a great suggestion for IAI Institute 2009 Salary Survey. Also Spirit SoftWorks has a comprehensive survey from 2004.
Agreed, that glassdoor is a great resource accross the board, Meg!
