The next Northern User Experience event will take place in Manchester, England in the evening of Monday 5th July.

This event will see us have a chance to disuss two great items:

  • Design Patterns for e-Commerce, facilitated by Sam Sutton
  • Does Technology make any difference in our social life, presented by Prof. Alistair Sutcliffe

And Northern User Experience is...?

... an informal community for people interested in usability, HCI, information design and all aspects of the user experience. Our membership is as diverse as the field itself, with developers, academics, usability specialists, accessibility experts and technical authors all represented. Events are free and open to all.  See http://northern-user-experience.org if you want more details....

Hope to see you there!

Chris

Just an update on the meeting - Sam Sutton has had to postpone the item on patterns for e-Commerce, but we have a really interesting sounding replacement:

  • Exploring Users’ Values, Motivations and Emotions in Requirement Analysis, by Sarah Thew (PhD Student at Manchester Business School)
