Hi Everyone,

I´m starting the redesign of a huge amount of eLearning Content for a University, a lot of the redesign consist in the implementation of Interactive Activities instead of the "info...info... info... quiz" model.

Does anyone know about a design model for this? also any tips or advice would be appreciated

Cheers

Hey Arturo,

I'm kind of swamped with trying to finish my dissertation and preparing for our annual conference, but I've done some work on "next gen" eLearning design. Is the university you're working with married to a specific LMS?

Hi Moses,

Thanx for the reply, actually their LMS is Blackboard, but we´re starting an Adobe Connect Implementation, the idea is to develop the new content in this last plattform.

Cheers

Look at Robert Gagne's Nine Events of Instruction.  For example http://www.e-learningguru.com/articles/art3_3.htm

There are plenty of examples around the net of how these can be applied.

My blog, onemind.com, is centered around the topic of Learning Experience Design (LxD).  Maybe you'll find some helpful information in the blog. Also check the links to many more blogs and web sites around the topic of elearning design and related issues.

Hi Arturo

Your question is very open...

Who is going to create the content: an IxD or the teachers themselves? Are you going to create a kind of a template for them?

How will be working in the process. The Learning professional have a process to design courses: Instructional Design. Depending on the activities and what kind of activity and the evaluation, it could be done in many ways...
If you want to keep talking... contanct me.
cheers!
