This time we have the pleasure to welcome
Chris Bleuel, Head of Fuenfwerken Interactive / Berlin. Chris will
provide us with some intriguing insights on how Interaction Design
applies to a more worldly and tremendously underrated challenge, that
most of us have to face everyday … public transportation.
Intelligent
Pipelining!
by Chris Bleuel | Head of Interactive
Fuenfwerken
Design AG
Imagine the utopian idea of being able to intersect
with and flow as part of an invisible, user-centered transportation
network – a system of self-organizing streams and nodes, matching your
individual needs to guide you in real-time and with minimal effort and
optimal means to your destination.
With mobile technology
becoming more immanent and immersive, we are provided with the right
assets to re-shape existing public transportation networks and make them
user-friendlier and more efficient – improving one of the most vital
aspects of our life, the need for mobility.
The future challenge
is to communicate and visualize relevant data personalized,
situation-dependent and system-independent, and to take into account the
user’s preferences, needs and mood.
This concept is referred to
as Intelligent Pipelining, focusing on:
Personal Time Management
Optimisation
Information Foretelling
Interface Data
Visualisation

IxDA Open Mic Sessions
Have something important to share? Jobs,
geek-stuff, projects or the next big idea? Well, the IxDA Events are the
right place to do so. We invite everyone to step into the spotlight and
grasp 10 minutes of our attention. Just give us a hint before the main
event starts and we’ll reserve you some time on stage. 5 open mic
sessions per night. So hurry up, because first come, first serve.
Drinks,
Gossip, Networking
We usually hang around after the event for
drinks, gossip and networking. A great chance to get to know new faces,
catch up with old ones and have a great deal of fun all along. We meet
either at the Schwarzwaldstuben (Tucholskystr. 48) or at Lolas Bar
(Auguststr. 2) – choice will be made at the event.
Love, happy thoughts and precious memories...
