This is a thin book (and only $17) that should be a good 'look up' reference for how to do things you'll want to know for using EightShapes, but do away with the unnecessary stuff that's geared towards full editorial designers.
Thanks for your interest. We've found that most folks learn by doing or watching. Have you used the video training (~50min across 13 topics that are the essential workflow of creating a deliverable) at: http://unify.eightshapes.com/training/deliverables/
If that's not sufficient, are there other or more detailed topics you'd like to see us publish?
Thanks Nathan. I'm pretty familiar with EightShapes, having gone through the video training and other documentation.
It's more a matter of getting really proficient with InDesign. I'm just not as productive with InDesign as I am with OmniGraffle, though I suspect I could be more productive if I really knew the tool.
And many thanks for releasing the framework (for free, no less!). The concepts have allowed me to reduce rework dramatically.
