Just wanted to make sure that IxD based programs in the US get
represented as well.
So if you represent a program here in the US, it would be great for
you to be sure you get included in this survey.

Design education programs survey

The AIGA Design Education community is about to launch the first ever
national survey of design education programs in the United States, in order
to develop a comprehensive directory of programs, to help us understand the
nature of the programs offered, and to make it easier for programs to share
information.

To accomplish this, we need to obtain the names of those who are responsible
for design departments, who may or may not be members of AIGA. Our interest
is in getting the contact name for the senior most administrative head who
is still related to the design curriculum; the lead may be a program head, a
department chair or a dean.

If you are a design department head or design educator, please submit your
name or the name of your department head.

Design might be broadly defined as communication design and/or interaction
design including disciplines like graphic design, visual communication, web
design, digital media design, design strategy, design planning, design
management, design processes and design methods, but excluding fine arts and
other disciplines such as fashion design, merchandising, packaging design,
industrial design, product design, interior design, architecture, etc.

For valid results, we need to identify as many design department heads as
possible by Wednesday, April 5. We will contact those individuals by email
and provide a link to the survey.
