IA Summit Registration is Open - IxDA sponsoring pre-conference IxD Symposium

IxDA is very excited to announce that registration is open for the IA Summit
this year, see information below.

We are excited because IxDA has put together a Pre-conference event called
the Interaction Design Symposium (see below). We are very excited that in
particular Kim Goodwin (Cooper) and Luke Wroblewski (FunctioningForm.com &
Yahoo) will be doing seminars along with David Heller, Lisa deBettencourt,
and Frank Ramirez. This full-day event will be great for both novice and
intermediate practitioners who want to beef up their overall Interaction
Design skills.

Opening plenary: Dr. David Weinberger, author of Small Pieces Loosely Joined
and co-author of The Cluetrain Manifesto, as this year's keynote speaker.

Closing Plenary: Peter Merholz, a regular speaker at Web design and
information architecture conferences, including the IA Summit, South by
Southwest (SXSW), and the UI Conference. He is also writer whose work has
appeared in several industry publications, including Digital Web magazine
and Boxes and Arrows. Peter is an active member of the American Society of
Information Science and Technology and ACM's SIG-CHI. He is currently
president of the IA Institute. He publishes regularly
