Also, do a search at the IxDA website - this list has hashed over this
subject often already.

Hi Sunil - I recommend you check out SMI. I started using their
technology for eye-tracking studies and found their solution to be
excellent. Reach out to Jennifer Knodler. Her email is
Jennifer.Knodler at SMIVISION.COM. She had a booth at the IxDA
conference so you may have seen her there.

Their solution like a few others does not require users to wear any
equipment. The participant eye are calibrated at the beginning with
a quick little task in which you ask the user to follow a dot around
the screen.

I would be happy to help answer any questions you may have once you
get started with running your first study. The study design is
dependent on what you want to learn, but I have found using
eye-tracking MUCH more powerful than running a usability study
without it. Particularly, if the site you are testing has a lot of
pictures. Your client will be able to get fixation data using
eye-tracking that otherwise you would never get through analytics or
other testing.

Feel free to reach out with any other questions directly to me.

Hi Sunil - I work for SMI: www.smivision.com

I'd be happy to tell you more about our BeGaze software and chat
about how it might fit your application.

Alternately, I could introduce you to some other IxDA members who
already use our tools.

Please feel free to reach out directly.
Jennifer

Hi Sunil,

Try Tobii.com Their eye trackers are very very easy to use.

Here's a recent white paper on eye tracking
http://www.scribd.com/doc/25907389/Tobii-Eye-Tracking-An-introduction-to-eye-tracking-and-Tobii-Eye-Tracker

And this is a new process that is great for testing transactional
applications.

Sunil,

Just returned from IRWD conference and had the chance to "shop"
various eye tracking solutions. Was totally blown away by the
accuracy and logical application of SMI. It's German technology and
the precision is definitely there.

Ultimately it comes down to the analysis of the eye movement but in
comparing this tool to others represented, when we acquire we will go
with this solution. I'd def take Jennifer's offer to intro you to
other IxDA users as that is where you will get the rest of the story
(account service, reliability, ease of start up). Good luck.

At this time I create eye tracker analyzer software for Mirametrix S1 eye tracker.

It could do heat maps of images and websites, areas of interest, cloud maps.

If you have question about my software or about this eye tracker, feel free to contact me - okosoft@gmail.com
