The User Experience Designer Role delivers User Experience concepts,
designs, definitions for Vodafone’s mobile, PC, online and business
products and services. The UE designer in this specific role will be
responsible for the UE design of Vodafone 360 services on third-party
devices (Android, iPhone, Nokia, etc). Design responsibilities include
conceptual design of new features, prototyping, and detailed UE design
specification deliveries. Next to hands-on design work, a small part
of the responsibilities include planning and coordinating design
activities, such as visual design and user testing. The designer will
participate daily in project team meetings and collaborate with
marketing, design and development colleagues. Required excellent
design skills are interaction design, wireframing, prototyping,
mobile design experience and understanding of user experience design
best-practices. Adobe CS4 proficiency is a strong plus.


· Sound experience in User Experience Design

· Sound experience in a commercial product and/or service
development environment

· Experience in mobile related businesses

· Strong and consistent user focus, demonstrated through
putting the user and their needs ahead of features and technology

· Proven ability to drive effective delivery in
cross-functional projects in a fast-moving environment working with
both internal and external resources

· Awareness to understand and respond to the organisational
and cultural factors in working across an international group

· Excellent communication skills in verbal, written and
formal presentation formats

· Technology grounding - sufficient high-level understanding
to allow informed assessment of likely technology and terminal impact
on User Experience design

· Degree in Design, Design management, Psychology,
Human-Computer Interaction or equivalent.
