Site-mapping visualization tools (to be run locally)

Hi Gang,

I've got a big sprawling site that I'd like to crawl and render as a
visual sitemap so I can get a better handle on some of the IA
concerns. I'd been doing it by hand on earlier versions, but its just
gotten too big.

Can anyone recommend software that will do this automatically?
Preferably something I can run locally (for privacy / security
reasons).

You can crawl the site using a client that creates sitemap XML files
(the kinds used for SEO), then use OmniGraffle and a bit of
Applescript to turn that XML into a graphical sitemap. Not sure how
it will behave with super large sites, but might be worth a try.
