I'm very pleased to announce that the much-improved second edition of
Designing for Interaction will be available (in the US) on Friday, 21
August.

The new edition features new chapters on design strategy, design
research analysis, brainstorming and design principles, and
prototyping and development. Also, new interviews with IxD luminaries
such as Marc Rettig, Leisa Reichelt, Bill DeRouchey, Todd Warfel,
Shelley Evenson, Larry Tesler, Brenda Laurel, Jim Leftwich, Hugh
Dubberly, Carl DiSalvo, Robert Reimann, Luke Wroblewski, and Adam
Greenfield, as well as new case studies on Microsoft Office 2007 and
TiVo.

Dan,

I came across the first edition of Designing for Interaction when I
was taking an HCI class. I appreciated the book and look forward to
the second edition. Thanks.
