Fundamental interactions?

I seem to recall reading an article some time ago about "fundamental"
interactions. I think there were 5:
1) Create content
2) Modify content
3) Navigate content
4) ...
5) ...

Does anyone know what the others are? Am I remembering this wrong?
Thx,
Russ

don't know your source, but it sounds a tad like CRUD, the database acronym
for "create, read, upload, delete" which are the four basic verbs with data.
sounds line navigate might correspond to read...

but then is search/find the same as navigate or something else?

Most likely OT, but I'll wager that "Share" has become a "fundamental"
interaction now.

Agreed, Fritz! It seems that even stand-alone applications such as
iMovie have a share menu these days.

I wonder if About Face 3 includes the following as fundamental interactions:

* discuss with other participants
* give feedback to source/author
* share with friends etc

If anyone's sitting next to an open copy of the book, would'ya mind
checking?

yes, that was a brain fart. I meant update.
Speaking of u-words. Is "undo" a fundamental interaction?
