I still consider myself a kiwi although I've been living in Toronto,
Canada for over 20 years (ew that's a long time).
Coming home for Christmas so would love to meet up if there's a
meeting. I'm in CHCH for a few days between Dec 8-11 before heading
to Timaru, hometown. Just before 24th will be heading up to the North
Island where I'll be until I leave Jan 11th. Probably not a good
time for Wellington group as everyone to meet.

Hi Jamie
In Auckland, we have semi-regular UPA meet-ups (with a diverse crowd, i.e not just usability folk) and monthly "Web Meetups":

We also have smaller, informal networks both online and offline (e.g. Twitter).
Get in touch if ever you're in Auckland.
