Director of Engineering

We have an immediate opportunity for an experienced, hands-on Director of

Engineering to join our clients fast growing company. You should be
comfortable

working hand in hand with senior leadership and managing a growing

technology team. Great opportunity for advancement as the company grows.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Head a team of talented engineers in developing code for an industry

defining social entertainment platform

* Implement engineering processes that will ensure delivery of platform

on time

* Work with CTO to continuously refine the platform to meet customer

and partner needs

* Lead QA to test and certify the platform and implement processes to

effectively keep development on schedule

* Manage Technology Group budget and headcount

Requirements:

* Must be an expert in object oriented PHP

* Must have a proven track record of shipping products

* Must have a proven track record delivering products on time

* Ability to multitask in a startup environment

* Must be decisive and effective at issue tracking and resolution

*Must have a deep understanding of SW development processes and life

cycle management

* Must have an excellent understanding of program management as applied

to a startup environment

* Must have the ability to motivate, cultivate and develop a world

class team as the organization grows

* 3-5 years in senior engineering management role

Additional skills:

*Proven record in working with marketing to get a world class product

out a plus

* Ability to conceptualize creative, engaging consumer designs a plus

* Experience with companies like Yahoo, eBay, Facebook, Google or

social network companies are a plus.
