linux: fedora & ubuntu OS eval;

i just installed and am dual booting my mac and pc with some linux os's. pc
with ubuntu and mac with fedora. any thoughts on the os ixda, uxd, ui of
these 2 open source projects?

does your os and application choices reflect your personal values?

I'm thinking I will use open source solutions for my music based on the
theory that it does.
