User Experience Mission Statement

Hello All,

First I'd like to say thank you to everyone who contributes to this
discussion board, it has been immensely helpful and thought provoking for
myself and my work.

I'm beginning a new position at with a large corporation with a strong brand
identity outside of the web. I will be their first User Experience Designer
for their digital properties. It seems to me that a great place to start is
to define a clear, even if brief, mission statement that will drive all
interaction designs and will be in line with their broader brand strategy.

Does anyone have any experience with a UX or Interaction Design mission
statement? Perhaps any to share?
