So many designers work from ego and emotion that they have trouble separating themselves from their work. This often leads to an inability to evaluate your own work. Worse yet, it can make another's evaluation difficult or worth less. There is also a huge amount of ego in some of the posts on this board proclaiming that 'I am a designer' and 'you are not' - without being willing to reveal this criteria.
