First-hand experience with Amazon Kindle

I'd like to hear your first-hand experiences about the Amazon Kindle. I know
that's a challenge, given that it is available only through amazon.com.

I'm especially interesting in the experience of the display resolution under
various lighting conditions, comparisons with printed books, and about using
the keyboard.
