JOBS: SW Validation Engineer-Hillsboro OR-Intel - FT

Intel's newly formed Visual Computing Group is seeking for experienced
Validation Engineers, responsible for developing comprehensive software
and platform test suites to validate the latest in world-class graphics
and multicore technologies. Some domestic travel may be required prior
to mid-2008.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science
or Computer Engineering with relevant experience.

- Experience in computer graphics or digital media field, either in
validation or development; you will also be expected to be questioned on
graphics and/or media
- If your experience is validation-centric, you should have strong
validation skills as well as the ability to comprehend the big picture
in several of the functional areas including graphics technology, XP*
and/or Vista* driver development, Linux*, and video applications
- Direct experience developing white box and black box tests to
facilitate functional, integration, regression, and performance testing
- If your experience is development-centric, you should demonstrate
versatility in software engineering spanning embedded development (C,
assembly language), scripting languages (Perl, Python*) and test
automation tools such as VEE* or Labview*
