JOB: Program Manager, Seattle WA, Entellium, Full Time

The Entellium Product Management and Design team has a need for interface design oriented Program Manager that shares our belief that great user experiences are a key driver in getting adoption in business software. Our Gamer Influenced Design™ looks to bring the concepts of Pick Up and Play and innovative information display that is prevalent in computer and console gaming to the today’s business applications. This position will allow you to utilize your passion for great visual design and UI to enhance our user’s experience.

Responsibilities:

1. Continue our tradition of building out award winning user-centric interfaces and features that raise the functional bar in business software
2. Translate customer requirements into innovative design solutions
3. Write functional specifications
4. Test and validate your designs with users and customers
5. Closely monitor feature deliverables as they are developed to ensure that they meet the direction outlined in your documentation. Take the steps necessary to quickly get them back on track when they don't
Qualifications:

Ab Ability to build out product workflows and screen concepts into functional specification documentation
2. Strong Communications Skills; able to present design concepts clearly and effectively, and back up those concepts with 3rd party validation.
3. Knowledge of Interaction Design, Ethnography, and User Centric Design disciplines. Familiar with Cooper, Neilson, Krug, Norman, Tufte, etc and can use their teaching to validate your designs.
4. Is able to work in an agile, iterative and fast paced environment.
5. Can work effectively without direct supervision
6. At least 3-5 years of work experience in product design or program management
7. Experience with user interface prototyping.
8. A willingness to travel internationally and work flexible hours
9. Game design experience, and/or a passion for gaming a plus
