It needs to have feeds under different headings on one page and then we can
delve into the area of interest and the relevant posts. I love the listbut
it's just too hard to find what you want and archives. Event if we made each
subject a hotlink that went to that section like in yahoogroup posts or
development of the categories section on your website.

My .2¢

I've always felt this way as well. A while back I took it upon myself
to simply create a Google Groups IxDA list which mirrors the current
list--so much easier to use

http://groups.google.com/group/ixda

It works pretty well. It's a lot easier to search for posts, flag them
later review, respond. Also a big thing for me is that I don't like
receiving tons of email so this is all web based (email is obviously
still available if you want it).

Bryan, this is neat and is really in line with what the IxDA is working on.
When we did our fundraiser in the early part of the year we let people
know we were working on just something like this. The presentation we
showed the world is at
http://www.slideshare.net/dmalouf/ixdas-future-digital-community/

we take on a bunch of these issues in the new designs we are working on.
We've been having a hard time getting this out to all of you in a
timely manner due to lack of technical and design volunteer resources.

So if you know mailman and python and want to pitch in to help bring
this vision to life, we would love to hear from you. Send me a note at
dave at ixda dot org.
