ABOUT WIRELESS GENERATION, INC.:
Wireless Generation deals with the massive streams of information that guide
children's education. We launched just 6 years ago. Today we serve millions
of students -- more than 10% of all children in America between the ages of
5 and 8. We are booming because our vision for changing education is both
compelling and profoundly needed.

We're focused on replacing archaic paper systems and helping teachers and
schools use data to support instructional decisions. By using our mobile and
web based applications, teachers are able to collect, share, analyze and act
on vital data.

>From rich-media handheld applications to Web 2.0 tools to large-scale data
systems, our challenges and technologies are diverse. If you are interested
in cutting-edge technologies, if you are serious about software
craftsmanship, and if you meet the requirements below, we want to hear from
you.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The successful candidate will be able to balance user research and
design/architecture activities to help our products best meet the needs of
users. The Information Architect's work will be applied to the development
of a wide range of products including web and handheld-based applications,
and digital pen-based tools.

The Information Architect will:
• Select appropriate user-centered research methods and apply them to
product development processes. These techniques include formal usability
testing, heuristic evaluation, paper prototyping, focus groups, task
analysis, online usability inspection, and surveys
• Create wireframes, navigation diagrams, and functional specifications to
design and clearly communicate the elements of user experience
• Facilitate the work of cross-functional teams throughout product
definition, design and development processes
• Translate client and user needs into functional requirements
• Write clear, concise reports to communicate issues, resolutions, and risks
• Assist with defining and implementing interface design guidelines
• Investigate, evaluate and recommend emerging usability and information
architecture techniques and technologies

REQUIREMENTS:
• 4 years experience developing interactive products as an Information
Architect, Interaction Designer, or User Experience Designer
• A degree in a related field, such as interaction design, technical
communications, usability, industrial design, graphic design, or human
factors
• Web design experience
• Experience with the following: Visio, Word, Illustrator, Photoshop, and
HTML editors
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
• Experience in client services and negotiating business decisions
• Experience facilitating user research and translating user research into
design decisions

Just 2 notes:

sometimes using BLEEDING EDGE Technology is inferior to StateOfTheArt pen,
ink and paper (for first stages of each design).

...and those wireless conections may potentially mess with the chakras,
leave the chakras alone... that's a dangerous fire...

Thanks to BuddhistNeutralGod I have "gloves" for playing/working with this
chakras.

try to save e-mails by just using a deep breath and willing it to happen
(saying to Google's gmail.com servers to save the info)

if you cann't. stay away from the chakras. you can get burned... your atoms
split (well... about NuclearWeapons... I just "cast a counter spell" to free
my mind of that worry... but I needed a limoncello/digestive later... well
not now, after casting the spell)
