FileMaker, Inc. is the worldwide leader in easy-to-use database software. We
are a wholly owned subsidiary of Apple Computer, Inc., and are headquartered
in Santa Clara, CA.
We are looking for an experienced, creative, and technically sophisticated
web designer and developer with 5-7 years experience in design and
production for a standards compliant website.
You will have a strong understanding of design, web technologies, usability
design, and information architecture. You¹ll also have excellent
organizational skills in managing multiple tasks and the ability to
communicate and interface effectively cross-functionally within FileMaker
and with vendors as required to meet program objectives.
Determines design and illustration needs for projects and applies
technical and user needs into final UI design.
Maximizes effectiveness of site UI, page layout, and visual and design
Helps define overall site organization and layout from an informational,
navigational, and functional perspective, including page layout (screen
schematics) and interaction (user paths).
Develops art and images, creates and optimizes graphics and multimedia
components, creates design comps and final layered files.
Develops visual design templates and converts into final HTML.
Creates HTML documents and implements client-side technologies to improve

Manages all documents and files on the site ensuring proper linking and

BA/BS degree plus 5-7 years experience, or equivalent.
