Hi all,
We are starting a project testing the usability of broadband video. One of
the challenges that has come up during pilot tests is that viewing video on
certain web sites (CNN, video.msn.com, etc.) causes our internet connection
to flake out. This happens in Both IE and Firefox and our DSL Modem does not
seem to disconnect at any point. We tend to think that this is an issue with
our router as rebooting it fixes the issue until we access video on these
sites again. [Linksys Model BEFW1154, 4 port, 802.11b wireless . It's around
2 years old at this point.]
Does anyone have suggestions for fixes or suggestions for replacement
equipment?
Regards,
Rich

I've come across a couple of problems with this router (my laptop has difficulties connecting to it). FYI, I am assuming that the model number is BEFW11s4 (5 -> s).
I would first try updating the firmware in the router. If you search for your router and video you will see that others are having the same problem:

You may need to contact Linksys directly to get their fix for the problem.
