Very important words in the product description: "compact cameras"...They
could rename this 'gossling neck', as it doesn't hold much. It doesn't have
the strength to hold either of our two video cameras at an angle, a newer
Sony D8 and an older Panasonic. Also, the spring clamp is limited in what
it can grip onto and the weight it can support. (We ended up dismantling
and reconfiguring a Sony tripod, which will mount for overhead and
horizontal holds quite well.)

Good luck.
