We need event ideas!

Hi IxDA Toronto!

What kind of event do you want us to run for you next? This organization is for YOU so we want to make sure we're putting on events that are fun, relevant and useful.

What do you want to learn about? What formats do you like best?

Know anyone who'd make an awesome workshop leader or presenter? Or do you have something you'd like to share with the rest of the group?

Got Sharpies? We need a sponsor!

Hey folks,

We're gearing up for an awesome design slam on Monday June 21st. Teams of attendees will be given a design challenge, and will share their proposed solutions at the end of the night. We'll put out an official invitation shortly, but in the meantime -- we are looking for a sponsor to help us make this event a reality.

The problem with being a zero-money organization is that now and then we need materials and have no way to pay for them.

So we're looking for an awesome company who will help us buy:

Need a mentor? Want to mentor?

How many people in our community are still looking for a mentor? And what about potential mentors -- who is hankering for a mentee?

Our next Speed Mentorship night is still a ways off, but I'd like to gauge the community's current need. Raise your hand if you're looking! Perhaps there are things we can do to help people get hooked up now, rather than waiting until August.

I'd also love to hear from last year's Speed Mentorship attendees... are you still in touch with your mentor / mentee? If not, why not?

Great new site, but calendar needs fixing

Anyone know how to fix the events calendar to show the correct day of the week? Now shows March 4 as Wednesday.
