The August IxDA Cincinnati event will feature a presentation on Gathering Insights: using research to understand your customer prior to engagement and how to apply those learning within the project work.

About Our Speaker
Jennifer King is a Senior User Experience Architect in Consulting Services at HP. She brings over 15 years of operational experience in the information architecture discipline with 10 years specifically working on automotive website operations and user experience. From 2001 to 2006, Jennifer worked on all consumer facing websites and online media campaigns for Ford Division, including fordvehicles.com, the primary website for consumers researching Ford vehicles, with over a million unique visitors a month. At EDS and HP she has worked extensively on project work in addition to sales pursuit opportunities. She brings demonstrated expertise in applying information architecture principles and usability findings to improve user experience and satisfaction.

5:30-6:15 pm: Networking, exchanging of ideas, business cards and refreshments

6:15-7:15 pm: Introductions and presentation

7:15-7:30 pm: Informal discussion, networking

HP will host the event in their Cincinnati Office, and refreshments will be provided. For parking, several garages are loated within a block of the office. Attendees will need to arrive by 6 pm so security can let them in. We will be gathering in Room TER-115.
