When you hear "accessibility," you think "screen readers," right? You wouldn't be alone, but there's much more to accessibilty than that. In this event, guest speaker Michelangelo Iaffaldano will lead a discussion on
what an accessible product is,
principles of accessibility,
examples of inaccessible UIs from well-known products, and
how to design an accessible product.
Michelangelo Iaffaldano is a Toronto designer, visual artist and musician, currently working at the Bank of Montreal. He has previously led the web accessibility initiative at a large Ontario government agency. Michelangelo is joined by Bill Gregory, developer and Senior Accessibility Engineer at The Paciello Group.
