Design by Fire Café #018
On Monday 2 July 2012 IxDA Nederland organizes the 18th edition of Design by Fire Café. Design by Fire Café is an informal gathering for (interaction) designers.
Exhibition Design & Interaction
Exhibition makers fit more and more interactivity into their designs. Whether it's about chemistry, history or sustainability: interaction is ideal to transfer knowledge in a fun and active way. Interaction brings visitors closer to the subject and closer to each other.
But it has to be done properly. What's involved in properly implementing interaction in exhibitions? How do you ensure that knowledge sticks? And how do you make visitors curious to know more? Paul van Houten will try to answer these questions and more.
Paul van Houten is exhibition designer at Tinker imagineers. He uses design and interaction as tools to tell a story. From concept to implementation guidance, Pauls work at the intersection of form, content, interaction and technology.
