/// About the presentation

Who Influences the UX?
If you are a User Experience designer, you help design the User Experience (UX). But you are not the only person to influence the UX; a lot more people are tasked with making decisions that have an impact on what can be designed. They range from budget holders that you pitch your ideas to, via strategists, project managers and Human Resources, to your fellow UX practitioners and their design process.

/// About Peter

Peter is Experience Designer at Adpative Path, Amsterdam, and has helped organize many user experience events, ranging from the local Amsterdam UX Cocktail Hours, via the Dutch CHI conferences (he was program chair for The Web and Beyond in 2006, 2008 and 2010), the first three Euro IA conferences and the IA Summit.

/// About Adaptive Path

Adaptive Path was one of the first design firms focused on user experience, and over the last decade we have done much to forward the practice and expose a wider audience to the concept. Founded in reaction to the rigid one-method-fits-all attitude many design firms bring to their client work, Adaptive Path has always approached its projects with flexibility, and above all else, curiosity. Always passionate about sharing our ideas with the design community, we teach, we write and we speak widely about what we do.
