come with interesting deliverables you’ve worked on (or are actively
working on), and share them in a casual setting with others interested
Tell us how you communicated your ideas in the face of design adversity! Alternatively, get feedback on a work-in-progress.
in mind privacy when you show, or look at, somebody's work. Please
respect the privacy wishes of the person who's work your viewing. We
understand that a lot of what we do is confidential, so only show things
you're comfortable sharing.
One could share, for example: - Wireframes - Prototypes (paper, Axure, HTML, other) -
Other interesting deliverables – scenarios & stories, flows,
personas, strategy docs, heuristic reports, usability testing reports
(email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with ideas!)
The key is: we need YOU to share! Bring print copies of a deliverable and/or something to project. Please indicate whether you plan to share something by selecting the appropriate ticket type. We have 10 show-and-tell slots, plus 20 seats for observers.
WHO SHOULD COME?
We want seasoned veterans as well as UX newcomers. Developers, visual
designers, content strategists, other UX hobbyists – you’re all welcome.
We’d love if you brought things to share, but if you don’t have anything or don’t feel comfortable, that’s okay too.
WHERE & WHEN?
June 27th, 7-9pm EDT. We have a new venue for this event--918 Bathurst, just north of the Bathurst subway station (http://918bathurst.com).
After, we'll head over to a local pub (likely the Victory Cafe) for some drinks and conversation.
