Chris Merkel talks us through the hows and whys of accessibilty design for websites.

During his presentation you'll learn what types of devices the disabled use to access the web, and see videos of real people using them. You'll learn practical tips for how to make our websites and apps more accessible and even get a chance to try out a screen reader for yourself.

Chris has 14 years of design experience across web sites, application interfaces, print, and visual identity. In the past, he's served such clients as Yahoo, Microsoft, Intel, Xerox, and Ask Jeeves. He currently works for Computech, Inc, as a user experience designer and information architect.

Event time is 7:00 pm - 8:30pm.

Unfortunately, we have a strict limit of 30 people for this event. Please RSVP at our Ning site if you plan to come.
