Event description:

Roy and Rachel Selig hit upon an idea for an educational children's game over summer vacation. Three months later, Learning Cubed, LLC was born; Word Cub launched on the App Store; and Apple had picked it up as a New and Noteworthy selection. In this one hour talk on Wednesday, March 10th, Roy will step through the birth of their first iPhone app, covering such topics as ideation, design, development and marketing. He'll conclude with lessons learned and a sneak peek at their next project.

Speaker bio

Roy Selig has been a developer in user experience teams for the past 15 years and a father for 5 years. He is currently a senior architect at Oracle and co-founder of Learning Cubed, LLC (http://www.learningcubed.net).
